One of the most frequent questions we get from KuKirin G2 Max riders is: "Why is my battery bar showing inaccurate power?"
Often, this isn't a hardware failure, but a simple setting mismatch in the internal menu. The default voltage for the KuKirin G2 Max is 48V. If this value is accidentally changed to 52V or another setting, your display will show incorrect battery information, which can lead to unexpected power-offs.
In the following tutorial video, we walk you through the quick process of entering the internal P-setting menu to reset your voltage to 48V. This ensures your scooter accurately reflects its remaining range and keeps your battery healthy.
Summary of Steps:
Enter Menu: Power on and triple-click the power button.
Navigate: Use the power button to reach the voltage setting page (P02).
Adjust: Long-press to edit, and set the value back to 48V.
Save: Simply wait 5 seconds for the system to return to the main screen.
If you follow these steps and still experience power issues, it may be time to check your electrical components. Keeping your settings accurate is the first step to a smooth and safe ride!
